The use of aluminum screen on the filter media completes the filtering media. The frame of the filter is made from polyurethane to exacting dimensions. The edge of the polyurethane frame does not "flow" into the filtering media providing the truck with more air flow as compared to the competitions moulding process.

Enclosed in a durable 16 gauge, powder-coated heat shield; this air intake system features a washable/reusable conical air filter that improves airflow for increased horsepower and torque. Heat shield requires little or no assembly and the filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.
